5 star ratingWorth a visit At the last min we decided to have sunday lunch here,we where told it is popular so we booked ahead, when we arrived we where shown to our table straight away even though we where early,there is a nice atmosphere here,through out our meal the servers where conscious of our need for anything extra, service was quick and efficient, would have no problem recommending the food, it looks like it has a lovely sun trap outside if you have the weather to eat also, or a drink in another part of the pub.

Toilets where very clean,

Sanitizer around the place,

Everything is clean and tidy,

Will be back, would have like to stay longer.

Good show management.

5 star ratingBirthday Dinner. I had the pleasure of taking two of my closest friends to dine for a birthday celebration in this beautiful and very relaxed Restaurant, Annie Mays in Newcastle Dublin 22.

We were greeted by the general manager Andy Neiland, he instantly made us feel very welcomed and comfortable as we sat and where looked after by his charming and professional staff, we had the main course, the fish of the day which was trout beautifully cooked with nothing left on the plate, the same with10oz Sirloin steak and I had the most tender 12HR BRAISED FEATHER BLADE OF IRISH BEEF that just mealted in my mouth, absolutely delicious.

We received a complimentary glass of champagne which was a lovely gesture by Andy and then the waitresses turned up at our table singing happy birthday with a beautiful candled chocolate desert that was much appreciated by the birthday girl.

We want to thank Andy and all the staff for a wonderful evening and want to recommend this restaurant as a must, you will not be disappointed.

The staff were all Covid protected, the cutlery came in there own individual covers, totally making us feel safe and comfortable.

5 star ratingPost Covid 19 Dinner We went for Sunday dinner, Sunday 26th July, and booked for 5pm.

Six of the same family dined, and we were greeted by a lovely manager, as soon as we arrived. We were shown to our pre booked table, and seated. We were offered drinks straight away, and the menus were already on the table. Drinks arrived prompt, and a nice treat after four months of not being to a pub.

Selection on the menu is good, and they do a catch of the day, and Joint of the day.

The order was taken by another very pleasant girl, who offered us jugs of iced water for the table.

The foods arrive very quickly, even though there were quite a few diners in the restaurant.

Everything was in compliance with Covid 19 guidelines. Tables separated many tables for two only if that is for you.

Cutlery, serviette, and seasoning all in a seal bag.

Staff all wore visors or facemask. Including kitchen personal.

Food was very well presented, and served on very nice crockery, and presentation dishes.

My Sea Trout was excellent and priced at €16 good value at present prices for dining out. All of the other guests also enjoyed their food, desserts were also well presented.

Great service from the floor staff, and no waiting for the second/third pint.

The ambience is excellent, and lots of parking.

One way in, and one way out system in place.

We all thoroughly enjoy our meal.

Booking and walk in accepted.
